Message Here is a few ( seriously... it is fewer than what I actually took!!??!! ) of the pics I took over the weekend at the Midwest Z Fest

Had a really good time. The show was held in a really interesting area with lots to do.

For those who's cars are shown without a name... I'll apologize in advance.... Way too much to keep track of.

On the road again...

I found this sign amusing...

A Scarab... I'll let you look it up. Probably my favorite Z there.

GT-R... brand new... dealer tags still... running at Hallett.

LJZTT waiting to run.

Had 3 of these on my run group... I mostly saw them driving away... quickly. Yes that is Eddie Hill.

Shared my garage with Jared ( don't know his screen name ) and this kid was fast! When he does his TT swap he'll be scary fast.

Matt from Dallas ( don't know his screen name ) first time on any road course. Another hooked.

4 Z32's... all from the Dallas-Ft Worth area.

The Car show... on a bridge!

Being my first time to participate in a 'Z' car show... I was a bit unprepared for what was expected.

For example I should of taken a picture of the pile of stuff I had behind the car... 2 ramps, jack, jack stand, overstuffed tool bag, brake change kit, 2nd tool box with DeWalt and batteries, cleaning supply bag, towels, torque wrench, and a wind breaker. Ugh.

And since this was first time to be judged... I'd like to judge the 3 who judged me. :)

1. Engine. Probably the most correct. The good was graded good and the not so good was graded not so good. Only 1 mistake ( and I understand why ) was made imho. Thanks. Grade A.

2. Outside . Being a Z nut I know all the imperfections and body issues ( poor Stillen lip install anyone..? ) so maybe I'm overly critical of the car. Judge must of been blinded by the Yellow Pearlglow. Very ( maybe too... or is that Tu..? ) generous and forgiving score wise. Where do I send the check. Grade B+

3. Inside. Being a Z car nut I know all the imperfections inside as well... but being garage kept and cared for... there are areas inside that are like new. Judge totally overlooked and or ignored the good and concentrated on the bad. Grade C-.

Well that should guarantee a bad score for next time... ;)

Where was I...?

Oh yeah... Car show on a bridge!

Just to show you how tight it was on this bridge...

In my opinion... the best paint of any of the Z's this weekend.

Went back to Hallett on Sunday for a bit before the trip home.

Pics from Bird's Eye... The photographer at Hallett.

The car ran flawlessly. Thanks Guapo! Boost + track time = perma grin.

My driving however.... was pretty poor. Not having any track time in almost 2 years will do that I suspect. Fun as ever... but a bit frustrating.

Hopefully I'll do better at T.W.S. in October with the Drivers Edge group.

Be seeing you.Tu.
